Which metal detector? Side-by-side comparisons with sources and dated prices
Buying a detector is a $200 to $7,000 decision made from forum fragments and store copy. Tone & Depth puts the numbers in one table, shows where sources disagree, and tells you who each model is not for.

Latest comparisons
The first comparisons are being checked against manufacturer pages and will be published here.
How every comparison is built
- Specifications from the manufacturer, with the page we read, and a note when two official pages disagree.
- Prices with the store and the date. Never “was / now” and never “save X%”.
- What owners report, cited, from forums and video channels. A claim needs two independent sources.
- No test lab. We do not own or field-test these detectors, and every article says so. Read the full method.
